I'm now in business and had my first official, paying shoot yesterday. It was for one of my co-workers and her family. She told me she wanted beach pictures and gave me some ideas of what she wanted and I found the perfect place on Folly Beach. It was truly perfect -- until the rain came! I was able to get in 100+ great shots before the rain forced us to pack it up and make a run for the car.
I have four shoots coming up between now and December 7 and am very excited. I'm excited to be doing what I love for other people! I have created a site for my photography work and have linked it on the left sidebar on this blog so you can go to it anytime. Please feel free to take a look and refer anyone you know to me who doesn't want to pay a fortune for pictures. Please do keep in mind that I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL yet -- I like to remind people of that. I still have lots of learning and practicing to do. Also, I still have some work to do to the site but it's fine for now. Oh, and yes, I'm aware that my initials are not yet KDS since J and I are not yet married; however, I just didn't feel like changing everything later. = )

Well, for starters.. you are GREAT at what you do!! I love how you just capture the "right" moment in your pictures. Your going to do a fantastic job and I'm excited about seeing your work. When I come to Charleston for a visit I'll have to schedule a shoot while I'm there. :o)
