What are your thoughts on Monday's season premier of Jon & Kate Plus 8?
The episode left me feeling so sad for the kids. They say they want to make it work for the kids, but yet in every shot it's either Kate and the kids or Jon and the kids – never both. You could feel Kate's anger towards Jon throughout the episode, understandably so. In my opinion, the episode was just plain sad and awkward.
Fame and money are nasty things. Even I am aware how much both of these things have changed the show; they are taking more elaborate trips instead of just the daily going ons of family life, everything seems to be given to them for free, Kate is becoming more beautiful and trim with every episode, more
Kate kind of annoyed on Monday's show. She was constantly complaining about the paparazzi, yet she would not have most of what she has now if it were not for the show. They are no longer just a regular family – they are celebrities. That is what happens when your family is in the spotlight for five years. She would not have her nice, slim body and her sporty, modern hairstyle if it were not for this show. She would not have her books or half of the stuff that is given to them if it were not for this show . . . so why is she complaining? She should have expected that fame and money comes with paparazzi. Deal with it.
Did anyone notice how Kate acted during the birthday party? I didn't see her talk to or mingle with the other kids' parents one time. I have a feeling she may be a big biotch in real life. What do y'all think?
As for Jon, he has totally changed. He was always the fun one who made everyone laugh. Not anymore. Maybe it's because he was totally busted and feels like a fool? It seems to me like he just wants to be done with the show now.
I have a feeling they're going to get divorced and the show is going to end. Does anyone else have that same feeling? This season should be interesting . . . My heart breaks for their precious little kids.

Im not an avid watcher of the show but I watched on Monday. I think they need to end the show and focus on their family. But from the looks of things they are both stubborn!
I am an avid watcher. Monday show was a total upset to me. I felt like Kate was complaining to much and Jon was just saying what everyone to her. I do not feel like Jon really wanted to be there. I truly believe that they both caused this on themselves and need to take responsiblity for their actions. They also need to take the kids out of the spot light and stop the show. I will hate not being able to watch them, but their family is more important then me watching a show.
It was so sad. I hope they work things out, they use to seem so in love - they would have to be for him to put up with her nagging. I think reality tv shows are a curse.

Yes - Kate is a OCD controlling bitch sometimes.. I try to see all sides of the picture b/c she does have a huge load on her with 8 kids. BUT - She needs to control her OCD and temper and how she reacts to Jon.
Jon - I don't know if the stories are true or not.. Even if they are not, he is so un happy with the way this show has effected the family and his wife. You can so see it in the way he acted on the past three episodes.
I'm so torn! I really wish they would just quit the show and work on their marriage. I think Kate is wrapped up in the money, fame and um.. money! They get all their trips for free, 65k a episode! YES GIRL, they just signed a 2 yr contract with TLC and will receive 25K a freakin episode! WOW!!
I'm sure Kate is thinking COLLEGE FUND for all 8 kids but it's tearing their family apart. I'm so torn. I just pray that they can work it out and put aside all their flaws and get back to the couple we all once saw on T.V in the beginning.
I have only seen a episode here and there but they do seem so unhappy. I did however watch Tori & Dean the other night for the first time and now im hooked on that. I have it DVR'd now so i dont miss a episode lol.
