After months of trying to find time to go look at wedding bands, J and I finally went to the jewelry store yesterday during lunch. 45 minutes later, we were walking out of the jewelry store with our wedding bands purchased—his ordered and mine in hand. I am so happy with our choices and so happy to finally have this off our plate.
Last week, my FMIL booked the band for our reception on November 7. I am so excited! We are going to see them play at J. Paul'z on August 5, if anyone wants to join us. Thank you, FMIL!
And this week, I found the photographer for our reception! She is awesome and I am so excited that she will be shooting our reception! And even better, I told her we had a budget that we needed the photography to be within and she happily agreed to work within our budget. It just goes to show that everything really is negotiable.
It feels so good to be checking stuff off our to-do list! We're making progress, slowly but surely, and everything is starting to feel more and more official. Oh, and according to The Knot, only 71 more days until we're married!

Great news girl! That's wonderful that you have tied up those last few things. Your photographer looks amazing and she is going to capture your special day just like you dreamed someone would. I'm so excited for you!!
